Ghost Hunting in Virginia City, NV Whether you are a believer in the paranormal or not, ghost hunting seems to be getting more and more  popular these days.  One reason may be that in these tough times, we are all looking into the unknown for answers to our problems.  Another reason may be that it is rather inexpensive entertainment.  Whatever the reason, we enjoy the hunt and are definate believers (with a touch of realistic debunking).  Ghost hunting seems to take the day's worries and stress away, your mind has a chance to focus on something (or someone) else besides our normal chaos.

Booking a stay at a notably haunted hotel or B&B and absorbing the historic surroundings is one way to go.  Watching all of the popular Ghost Hunting shows on television is another.   When we head out to for a ghost hunt, our bags are packed with snacks, beverages,  dvd's to watch until nightfall and of  course, our equipment.  Sometimes, we are lucky enough to run into locals bursting with stories of the area, surely some are true yet others are fiction.  Nonetheless, we appreciate their enthusiasm and love meeting new friends along our travels.

We are blessed to have the opportunity to run ghost hunting events here in Virginia City, Nevada.  Several events are in the process and we currently have an overnight event planned this October.  For more information, please contact us at booksmac@att.net or visit our events page at www.virginiacityparanormal.com

There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist. Do you agree?

My daughter and I went ghost hunting in VC. Stayed at the Gold Hill Motel. The ghost in there took the shampoo and cream rinse out of the dish and laid them on their side on the counter. Turned on the water in the sink and shook our bed at 5:30 AM.
In the Old Washoe Club the ghost boy moved the ball quite a bit for us! A pic we took outside looks like mist until we blew it up, turns out it's a human hand motioning us to "come here" with it's index finger. We also caught a blue streak of pure spirit energy shooting from the floor upwards in the crypt.
At the cemetery we found the graves of three children together. I asked can't you just your name, Edith? Right after I say Edith she says Edith really fast.
I t was great fun and we plan on going again soon. I would love to get with your group and do a hunt together. When is your next one? Can I please join you? unified4u@yahoo.com
