The train ride up to Gold Hill, Piper's Opera House in all of it's glory, Fourth Ward School which is one of the remaining 4 story school houses left in the U.S. and many more.

Stopping at St. Mary's Art Center should be on the top of the list.  This property, built in 1876, was once the original Mary Louise Hospital and provided care to all, from miners to shop keepers, tycoons to the poor.

Currently, the building hosts a variety of art installations as well as overnight retreats for corporate guests all the way to artist retreats and family gatherings. 

The ghost hunting season is upon us and Virginia City will be flocked by paranormal enthusiasts, after all, this town is know as one of the most haunted towns in the USA.
